Social Media for 1 Finance

Keeping it personal for the brand’s socials

To establish 1 Finance’s credibility in the space of personal finance advisory, we developed a cohesive visual and social media strategy for the platform’s Instagram. We ideated, designed and created content — including carousel posts, short-form reels, and long video interviews — on a monthly basis, from December 2022 to April 2023. The idea was to make personal finance more accessible and topical, and increase the brand’s visibility. We introduced fun illustrations and animation to breakdown complex financial concepts, drew on advice from the brand’s roster of financial advisors, and were guided by people’s everyday relationships with money.

In order to establish a credible voice for the finance brand, an editorial approach proved useful.

Humour and playfulness worked to make a topic that can often seem heavy more relatable.

On occasions like New Year’s Day, we designed timely posts — like these wishes for a relatable, wealthy new year.

For Christmas, we conceptualised a series of reels that reflected the brand’s key messaging of helping their customers be free of financial stress.
